Straw Practice Dummy

Bring the everyday preparation of soldiers to life with this Straw Practice Dummy. The upright figure is built around a sturdy wooden frame and wrapped in thick bundles of straw, creating the battered appearance of a target designed to withstand repeated weapons practice.

Heavy bindings cross the straw body and arms, while uneven fibres and a worn, flattened head give the model a well-used appearance. The circular timber base provides a solid foundation and completes the traditional training-yard design.

Place it in a castle training yard, beside a militia barracks or within a knightly encampment to suggest soldiers practising before battle. It also makes a distinctive environmental feature for miniature displays, historical dioramas and tabletop terrain.
