Bring a working farmstead to life with the Rustic Hay Barn. This sturdy agricultural shelter features a timber frame, horizontal plank siding and a steeply pitched roof covered in overlapping shingles. Its open front reveals a substantial mound of stored hay, creating a practical and recognisable rural focal point.
Thick support posts and framed gable ends give the structure a solid, handcrafted appearance, while the layered roof and textured hay add contrast between the wooden construction and its contents. The simple, robust design suits medieval villages, isolated homesteads and countryside settlements.
Place it beside a field, within a farmyard or along the edge of a rural village. The enclosed sides and bulky haystack make it useful for breaking up open sightlines and providing cover during encounters, while adding atmosphere to tabletop terrain, miniature displays and dioramas.
