Praying Angel of Death Statue

With its bowed head and skull held close in silent contemplation, the Praying Angel of Death Statue evokes the sombre atmosphere of an ancient burial monument. The figure is wrapped in layered robes that fall in deep folds towards the base, while its hood casts a shadow over a calm, indistinct face. Clasped hands surround a sculpted human skull at chest height, creating the central focal point of the design.
